This year we are collecting stuffed animals for Adam’s Animals. Adam’s Animals is a federal nonprofit organization established to collect and deliver NEW stuffed animals to sick children. We will also be asking for monetary donations for My Friend’s House. My Friend’s House provides emergency, short-term shelter for children ages newborn to nine-years old that have been removed from their homes due to abuse, abandonment, or neglect. There will be a place to drop stuffed animals and coins in the Narthex during VBS. Our 4th & 5th Graders will ask for sponsors and walk laps to raise money for both missions. We’ll be setting goals for missions at the beginning of VBS. We have an exciting reward planned for everyone if we reach our mission goal. It’s a crowd pleaser and will bring a wave of cheering from everyone!
