Meet April Kendrick, our newest Ministry Star! April joined CUMC in February 2006 and took off running -- she hasn’t stopped since! April immediately became involved in the Missions Ministry and participated heavily in the building of House on the Corner 2006. She could be seen at the corner on most Saturdays during her first months at the church. She also became involved in our Disaster Response Team and has been on and led many DRT trips.

April was also involved with House on the Corner 2007 and her responsibilities increased. She can also be seen working on House on the Corner 2008, where she will again be very active.

As a member of the Building Committee for the new Sanctuary, I’m sure you have guessed by now, that she also serves on the Construction subcommittee. We have seen April with her tool belt, looking completely equipped with all types of tools. We failed to mention that she is also chain saw certified.

April is a great team leader, team member and motivator. She goes above and beyond when she takes on a task and has the respect of all those who work with her.
