June S.A.I.L. Activities
Movie Day will be on Tuesday, June 3, beginning at 1:30 p.m. in Room 206. Our feature will be the recently released “The Great Debaters” (Rated PG-13), directed by and starring Denzel Washington. This movie is based on the true story of Melvin B. Tolson, a professor at Wiley College Texas in 1935. Invite a friend, and bring a cold, soft drink to go with our hot, buttered popcorn. No reservations necessary!
The long-awaited Sack Lunch will be Tuesday, June 10, featuring guest speaker Carol Inman. Carol is a nurse at Presbyterian Hospital and will share some of her knowledge with us about Arthritis. Just bring your sack lunch; drinks will be provided, as will ice cream for our Annual Ice Cream Dessert Party following lunch. We’ll begin at 11:45 a.m. in Room 211. For planning purposes, please call in your reservations to JoAnne Moore at 972.596.4303, x251. Invite a friend!
Be sure to check the weekly “Snapshot” for future S.A.I.L. activities. Your ideas are always welcome!
