We are very fortunate to live in an area where our cities are involved with being environmentally conscious. There are two upcoming events you and your family can attend and get involved to help God’s Earth, set a good example, and learn more about being green.

The Great American Cleanup is being held on April 5 in Plano. It’s the nation’s largest (and Plano’s largest) organized litter prevention and community improvement program. The cleanup takes place from 8 – 11 a.m. all over Plano. It’s a great way to start your weekend. The Live Green Expo is being held on April 12 at the Plano Centre. The event is a fun, family event that will help North Texans make informed decisions and take action to lead more healthy lives with less impact on our environment. Free to the public, the Expo will feature exhibitors offering a wide selection of products, services and information. In addition, the Expo will include dozens of presentations on a variety of topics, music, art, food, demonstrations and activities for youth and children.
