A funeral or memorial service is one of the occasions when the Church celebrates the fullness and richness of our faith as we express our trust in God’s infinite grace and love. It is a time for the community to gather together, to share, to support, and to find hope. The Funeral Receptions Committee of Christ UMC offers to prepare and host a reception after a funeral or memorial service so family and friends can gather and share in support and hope.

Sue Robertson, JoAnne Moore, and many others organize and host these receptions at no cost to the families. They are a gift of love in a moment of care, a ministry of the Care Center.
