Meet our newest Ministry Star, Trudy Hale! Trudy and her family joined CUMC in March 2000. Trudy has been busy ever since. She is currently serving as a member of the Nominations and Personnel Committee and has participated in many Leadership Summits.

Trudy Hale has served as a volunteer in many capacities!  She has served as a Mom to Mom leader, Children’s Sunday school teacher, event coordinator, Kids R.O.C.K. drama team member and much more. In short, Trudy has always been willing to serve in any role that needs to be filled. She served as head of the Children’s Leadership Team for 2 years and was integral in creating a system of support for our teachers on Sunday morning. Trudy is currently teaching 2nd Grade Sunday School and is a member of the Acoustics Committee, a sub-committee of the Building Committee.

Our older elementary children remember her fondly from their days in pre-school and “Music Time with Miss Trudy.” Our most recent attendees at Vacation Bible School 2007 will always remember her as “Skylar the Squirrel.” Trudy and her family, Rob, Sydney and Lauren, are always ready and willing to help in whatever capacity needed, and they make sure everyone around them is having a good time. Trudy is a joyful presence for our children, and we are blessed by her ministry! The next time you see Trudy, be sure to take the time to thank her for an amazing job! Congratulations, Trudy!
