The Finance Committee celebrated the paying off of the Phase 2 (Education Building) mortgage by burning the note. This $ 1.7 million debt on a 30 year motgage was completely paid off in only 8 years. The actual note burning may have smelled bad, but everyone in the room was happy and excited about this accomplishment!
