The Finance Committee gave final approval on the proposed 2008 operating budget. Thanks to the generosity of the church, a very successful fall pledge campaign, responsible budgeting of the church staff and financial leaders, we were able to fund an operating budget for 2008 with a 2.6% increase over 2007. The All Church Conference on December 9, approved a “not to exceed” budget for 2008, and the Finance Committee was easily able to stay within the approved guidelines.
