Confirmation 2008 is just around the corner! If you have a 7th or 8th grade youth, you'll want to make sure he or she is signed up for these 3 life-changing months  From January through March, our Confirmands will learn all about what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ and a member of his Church. 

Confirmation will begin with a fun and power-packed weekend!  Thursday night, January 10, will be our first ever youth and parent meeting. On Friday, January 11, the youth will have a blast at an overnight lock-in in the LOFT where they'll learn about John Wesley and the Church. Confirmation morning classes will begin just two days later on Sunday, January 13, at 8:30 a.m. and continue until Confirmation Sunday, March 30. Parents: Reverend Abe Smith will also lead a class for you that will meet at the same time as youth classes!  We hope you'll be a part of it. 


Besides class lessons, youth Confirmation includes a group service project, conference-wide Confirmation event, class fellowship opportunities, visits to other religious centers/places of worship, and mentoring relationships with a Faith Partner, teachers, and youth ministers. Without a doubt, the Confirmation season is one of the most significant times of the year for the youth ministry. We can't wait to welcome this year's students and watch them experience the joy of the Christian faith!
